Katie Datta is a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Sociology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and strengths-based practices to support clients in developing resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being. She values collaboration in the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a space that fosters connection, personal growth, and a sense of meaning.
In addition to her private practice, Katie is employed with the Anglophone School District – South as a Guidance Counsellor.
Katie offers individual therapy to youth (13+) and adults, both in person and virtually. Whether you’re working through anxiety, life stressors, or looking to build a stronger sense of self, Katie meets you where you are—with care, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to your growth.
