Our Rates
At Coastal Path Therapy Group, we believe in transparent pricing and high-quality care. Below is an overview of our current rates and billing information.
Standard Session Fees
- Individual & Youth Therapy – $150 per 50-minute session
- Couples Therapy – $170 per 50-minute session
- Career Counselling & Assessments – Career counselling includes three therapy sessions at $150 each, along with formal assessment tools. The fees for the assessment tools range from $175 to $400, depending on age and complexity. These are billed as additional charges to the session fees.
Insurance & Reimbursement
Many private health insurance plans cover therapy with a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) or Licensed Counselling Therapist-Candidate (LCT-C). Coverage varies, so we recommend checking your specific plan to confirm eligibility. We are able to direct bill to:
- Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)
- Medavie Blue Cross
- NB Department of Social Development
- WorkSafe NB
- Partners for Youth Connect
- Telus Health eClaims network (includes some workplace and private plans)
If your plan is not eligible for direct billing, we provide detailed receipts that you can submit for reimbursement.
Payment Options
We accept the following forms of payment:
- E-transfer
- Credit Cards
- Direct billing to select insurance providers (Blue Cross, Canada Life, Belair Direct, Manulife, PSHCP, Chambers Plan, and more)
Important Notes
- All sessions are 50 minutes unless otherwise arranged. Many couples sessions are 80 minutes. This will be clarified when booking.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 business hours notice) are subject to a fee of half the session rate.
- Missed appointments without notice are subject to a fee of the full session rate.
